Bill Witte
In 1989, Bill co-founded Related California with Related Companies Chairman Stephen Ross and after serving as Chief Executive Officer for 37 years, he now holds the position of Chairman Emeritus. He transformed Related California into one of the largest real estate companies on the West Coast and a prolific affordable housing developer.
Prior to founding Related California, Bill served as Deputy Mayor for Housing and Neighborhoods under Mayor Art Agnos where he oversaw all housing, development and redevelopment activities for the City of San Francisco. He also served as Director of Housing and Economic Development under Mayor Dianne Feinstein.
Mr. Witte previously served as Executive Assistant to Assistant Secretary for Housing/Federal Housing Commissioner Lawrence B. Simons at HUD in Washington, as Legislative Director for the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials and worked at the Philadelphia Office of Housing and Community Development.
Beth Mullen
Beth Mullen has more than 40 years of experience providing consulting, tax, and accounting services to real estate owners and developers, as well as the community redevelopment industry. She has been Cohn Reznick’s National Director of the Affordable Housing practice and a member of the Project Finance and Consulting team after joining the firm in 1984. A key facet of her practice is devoted to helping clients to facilitate transactions by structuring public-private partnerships (P3s) that are financed in part by the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), federal and state historic tax credit programs, opportunity zone equity, the federal New Markets Tax Credit Program, and energy tax credits.
