SB 1220 Passes Out of Senate Policy Committees!
Today SB 1220 passed out of the Senate Governance and Finance Committee with a vote of 5-2. The bill will next be heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee at the end of May. Thank you to all of our supporters and to Senator DeSaulnier and his staff!
SB 1220 Passes Out of Senate Transportation & Housing
SB 1220 passed out of the Senate Transportation and Housing Committee April 24th, 2012 with a vote of 6-2. The bill will be heard tomorrow in the Senate Governance and Finance Committee at 9:30am. After the amendments were refused, the bill with the urgency clause died on a 24-1 vote with all Republicans abstaining except for one.
