In August and September, CHC convened a series of brown bags in San Bernardino, Stockton, and San Jose in order to continue what we started in February with our 1st Annual Homeownership Forum. Attended by non-profit practitioners, banks, local governments, and housing counselors, we heard directly from individuals working in California’s hardest hit area on what’s working, what’s not working, and what changes can be made to state programs to make them more successful. The majority of the discussion ultimately centered on the Keep Your Home California program.
CHC will publish our recommendations for the program in the coming month.
